Bf-109K TFace 1:48 (Eduard)

This is a set of precisely shaped self-adhesive painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard, intended for a model of the Bf-109K fighter in 1:48 scale. The TFace version means that the set contains masks for the canopy glazing from the outer as well as the inner side, so the glazing frames visible from inside can be painted cleanly too. The masks are cut from fine kabuki masking paper, which follows rounded shapes well and leaves no glue residue after removal.

Use

• You stick the masks exactly onto the individual glazing parts according to the enclosed diagram.
• The inner side is masked first, the parts are painted in the interior color, and then the outer side for the airframe color.
• Circular masks for the wheels tend to be included as well, which makes painting them cleanly easier.
• Once the paint has dried you remove the masks carefully and get sharp transitions with no creeping under.
