The set brings replacement main landing gear wheels for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 110 in the C and D versions in 1:48 scale. It is an aftermarket resin accessory with a sharply cast tire tread and enclosed masks for easy and clean painting. It does not hold a model of the aircraft; it replaces only the wheels from the original kit.
The Messerschmitt Bf 110 was a German twin-engine heavy fighter used in the Second World War as a fighter, a fighter-bomber and a night fighter. The C and D versions were among the earlier series committed in the first years of the war. Detailed wheels with a realistic tread markedly lift the impression of a finished model.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts and cut off the casting blocks. Thanks to the enclosed masks the wheels can be painted quickly and with a sharp transition between tire and hub. For a faithful look apply a matte rubber color to the tire and the landing gear shade to the hubs, and add dust and mud effects at the end.
This is a detail set, not a complete model. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
