The set contains color pre-printed photo-etched seat belts for the cockpit of the twin-engine Messerschmitt Bf-110D heavy fighter in 1:48 scale. The Bf-110 cockpit holds a crew of a pilot and a radio operator, so the belts bring the model's prominent glazed section to life. This is not a kit but a detail accessory replacing the flat plastic belts with a faithful substitute. The STEEL version is etched on steel foil: the parts are more resilient and the color print has richer shades than ordinary brass photo-etch.
Separate the parts, shape them into a natural sag over the seats and the edges of the cockpit, and secure the buckles with a drop of super glue. Fit them before the fuselage is closed and the glazing put on.
An accessory for a plastic kit; the kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
