Eduard 1:48 Boeing B-17F engines is a resin detail set of replacement radial engines for a model of this American bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an aircraft kit but a resin detail set, faithful radial engines for models of the Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress bomber in 1:48 scale. The cast resin engines are markedly more detailed than the plastic from the box and offer scope for a striking presentation with the cowlings removed.
The Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War, famous for its toughness and its heavy defensive armament. It was powered by four Wright Cyclone radial engines with turbochargers, which allowed the machine to operate at high altitude over Europe.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and smooth the surfaces. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue and protect your airways while sanding. Paint the engines in metallic shades and bring out the cylinders and the wiring; ideally display at least one engine with the cowling open.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The aircraft model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
