Eduard 1:48 B-17F Flying Fortress nose interior is a colored photo-etched set for refining the nose interior of a model of the American bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A colored, pre-printed photo-etched set aimed at the interior of the forward fuselage, the nose, of a plastic model of the B-17F Flying Fortress bomber in 1:48 scale. The colored etched parts faithfully capture the instrument panels, the panels and the equipment of the navigator's and bombardier's space with no need for laborious hand painting. This is an accessory for models of this type, not an aircraft kit.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was a four-engine American heavy bomber deployed in the Second World War above all on daylight raids over Europe. The B-17F version was marked by a lengthened transparent nose and a range of small changes from the earlier types. The space in the nose belonged to the navigator and the bombardier.
The colored parts are glued with cyanoacrylate glue; the pre-printed areas do not have to be repainted, and a sensitive picking out is enough. Bend the smaller parts with tweezers and use the minimum of glue on the joints, so that the printing is not damaged.
This is a supplementary set, not an aircraft kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
