The Hauler 1:48 resin Bosch headlights replace the coarse plastic headlights on models of German vehicles. It is a small aftermarket accessory, not a kit.

A set of small resin castings of Bosch type headlights, of the kind used on German military vehicles. It serves as a replacement for plastic parts on models in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit - it is an accessory that needs a base model.
A headlight is one of the most conspicuous places on a model, because it sits high up, in the line of sight, and tends to be the only shiny point on an otherwise matte vehicle. Injection-molded plastic, however, usually manages it only as a solid cylinder with a suggested rim. A resin casting holds a thin rim and a cleanly cast inner face, so once painted it really does look like glass in a metal housing. It is at the same time the quickest way of adding a detail to a model that everyone notices.
First wash the castings in warm water with detergent. Cut the casting blocks off with a sharp knife or a saw right at the part; small pieces are easily lost - work over a tray with a raised rim. Cut the original plastic headlight off the model and level the area so that the new part sits down. It is bonded with super glue applied with a pin. Painting: the housing in the same shade as the vehicle, the inner face black first and silver once that has dried, and at the end a drop of gloss varnish or clear glue, which creates the impression of glass. The wiring can be suggested with thin copper wire run to the fender.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model in its own right. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
