A photo-etched detail set 1:48 Boston III / DB-7B from the Czech maker Eduard for refining the twin-engine light bomber. An accessory, not a standalone kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of photo-etched parts in 1:48 scale for detailing a model of the twin-engine light bomber Boston III (DB-7B). This is an aftermarket accessory from the Czech maker Eduard which adds fine metal details where plastic runs into its limits. The color printed items refine the interior and the instrument surfaces.
The Douglas DB-7 / Boston was an American twin-engine light bomber and attack aircraft from the period of the Second World War. In the Boston III version it was used in large numbers by the Royal Air Force and by the Allies for daylight attacks at low altitude. Its robust construction and glazed nose make it a rewarding real subject for detailed work.
The photo-etched parts are cut off the fret, bent in a bending tool and glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The color printed surfaces are not coated over with covering paint. The smaller parts are best pre-shaped before gluing.
An accessory for more advanced modelers. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
