BOZ-EC pod 1:48 is a resin detail set that precisely replaces the BOZ countermeasures pod for models of the Tornado.

This set is NOT an airplane model but a resin accessory with photo-etched parts. It faithfully reproduces the BOZ-EC countermeasures pod carried on the pylons of European Tornado combat aircraft. The castings have finer surface detail and more accurate shapes than the plastic parts from the box and are intended for models in the same 1:48 scale.
The BOZ pod dispensed decoys (chaff and flares) to protect the aircraft from guided missiles. The accessory raises the realism of the underwing stores and suits a build of the aircraft in a low-level strike configuration in particular.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off carefully and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Bend the photo-etched items over a metal ruler. We recommend a primer before painting.
This is an accessory, not a model on its own. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
