A set of cast resin engine cooling gills of the Quickboost brand for a plastic model of the American twin-engine Beechcraft C-45 in 1:48 scale. This aftermarket accessory replaces the kit plastic parts with more faithful castings with a finer detail of the vanes that regulate the cooling of the radial engines.
The Beechcraft C-45 Expeditor was an American twin-engine light transport, liaison and training aircraft derived from the civil Beech Model 18. It served to carry people, for training and on support duties, and it was powered by two radial engines.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue. The fine vanes of the gills come alive once they are painted and the shadows are lightly picked out.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft model. The kit itself and the glue are not included in the package.
