C-45F Expeditor painting masks 1:48 (Eduard)

This is not a kit but a set of Eduard painting masks in 1:48 scale. The masks are die-cut precisely from yellow kabuki paper, the Japanese masking paper, and are self-adhesive. They serve for clean spraying of the frames of the cabin glazing, the wheels and other features of the twin-engine C-45F Expeditor. The model itself is obtained separately and is not included in the package.

The real subject

The Beechcraft C-45F Expeditor was an American twin-engine utility aircraft derived from the Model 18, the Twin Beech. It served as a liaison and transport machine and, in similar versions, for training as well; it remained in service for a number of postwar years.

Use

• You lay the mask on the relevant place on the model and mask the surroundings.
• You spray the paint over the mask, and once it is peeled off, sharp transitions remain.
• Particularly suitable for the canopy frames and for the wheels.
