The set brings fine photo-etched parts for raising the fidelity of a plastic model of the Japanese carrier-based reconnaissance aircraft C6N1 Saiun (Allied code Myrt) in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit, but an aftermarket accessory. It is intended for C6N1 models in this scale.
The photo-etched parts concentrate above all on the cockpit and the interior — instrument faces, side consoles, levers, the seat harness and other small items. They give the cockpit a realistic depth that plastic cannot reproduce faithfully.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and use a photo-etch bender for the bends. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) in a small quantity. Degrease the surface before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
