This set from New Ware contains precisely cut self-adhesive masks of thin kabuki paper. The BASIC level version covers above all the extensive canopy glazing and possibly the wheel rims of a model of the German Heinkel He 111 bomber in its captured form.
The Heinkel He 111 was one of the most widespread German bombers of the Second World War, typified by a fully glazed rounded nose. One of these machines was captured by the Allies at the end of the war, which is also the subject of this model. Its extensive glazing makes masking it particularly laborious, and it is exactly here that the masks are a fundamental help.
These are painting masks (an accessory), not a model. The paints and the model are not included in the package.
