Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the French Caudron CR.714 light fighter in 1:48 scale from RS Models. It is a short-run kit with finely scribed as well as raised panel lines and clear cockpit parts, intended rather for more advanced modelers. A decal sheet is included. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Caudron CR.714 was a French light fighter of all-wood construction from the end of the 1930s. It was powered by a Renault engine and carried four machine guns under the wings. It was deployed at the beginning of the Second World War in small numbers; besides France, Polish pilots also flew it and the machine served in Finland as well.
As with short-run kits, expect a more sensitive fit and the need to sand parts. Paint the cockpit before closing the fuselage. Use thin cement on the plastic and glue the clear canopy with cement for transparent plastics. Apply a primer before painting and work with an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
