Cessna O-2A Skymaster painting masks 1:48 - Peewit

A set of precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks from Peewit for building a model of the Cessna O-2A Skymaster observation and liaison aircraft in 1:48 scale. This twin-engined machine with its push-pull engine layout and extensive cabin glazing has demanding frames that are hard to mask by hand. The masks of thin adhesive paper follow the shapes of the frames exactly, adhere without bubbles and leave no adhesive behind when peeled off. Peewit supplies die-cut frames for the cabin; the wheels are masked with separate circular masks.

Use

• Apply the individual masks with tweezers exactly onto the frames of the glazing.
• Spray the paint in thin coats so that it does not run under the edge of the mask.
• Remove the mask soon after spraying, while the paint is still flexible.
• For the wheels use separate circular masks according to the diameter of the hub.
