Scenic accessories for a diorama in 1:48 scale. The set carries the English name Containers (Vietnam), so these are containers tied thematically to the setting of the Vietnam War. They are placed around vehicles, at bases, in supply areas and by crew quarters. It is not a kit of a vehicle and not a finished painted model; it is equipment for a scene to be cleaned up and painted yourself. Check the exact make-up of the parts on the box of the set.
Supply materiel is the component of a diorama that gives a scene operational credibility. Vehicles on their own look like an exhibit on display; only the containers, boxes and clutter around them suggest that somebody is using the place. A thematically tied set also helps to anchor a scene in time and place, without your having to look for each piece separately. The 1:48 scale is the distinguishing detail; the same set also comes out in further scales.
These are scenic accessories, not a kit. Paints, glue, a base and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
