This injection-molded plastic kit from Hobby Boss captures the Corsair Mk.II, the British carrier version of the American fighter corresponding to the F4U-1A. The model offers a detailed radial engine, a choice of spread or folded wings and a broken-down cockpit interior.
The Corsair was an American carrier fighter with its characteristic inverted gull wing. The Fleet Air Arm operated it under the designation Corsair Mk.II; this version had a blown canopy for a better view. The machines served with carrier squadrons in the Pacific and elsewhere.
Decide in advance whether you will build the wings spread or folded. Finish the cockpit and the engine before closing the fuselage up. Liquid cement for plastic, a primer and an airbrush are recommended; apply the decals onto a gloss varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
