Eduard 1:48 De Havilland Chipmunk T.10 LööKplus is a combined accessory set for a model of the Chipmunk T.10 training aircraft in 1:48 scale. It holds resin parts and finished color cockpit details; it is not a kit.

The LööKplus range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard joins finished color cockpit detail with further resin parts in one package, which change the look of a model at first glance. The basis is a color-printed resin instrument panel; sets in this range usually add further resin components, on aircraft most often the landing gear wheels. The set is cut for a model in 1:48 scale and does not replace the base kit.
The De Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk is a two-seat training aircraft with seats in tandem, an all-metal fuselage structure and classic tailwheel landing gear. The T.10 designation was carried by machines of the Royal Air Force (RAF), where the type served for decades as the basic trainer. After withdrawal a large part of the aircraft passed into civilian hands and a good number of them are flying to this day.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent, so that residues of the release agent are removed from the surface. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutter, not by breaking them, and level the surfaces with a sanding sponge; when sanding resin, protect your breathing and work wet. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue, because ordinary polystyrene cement will not join resin. Parts finished in color are not painted over any more – they are only matted down lightly, if that is needed. Always check the seating of a part in the fuselage dry first.
This is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory set for a plastic kit in 1:48 scale. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
