This is a resin, directly 3D-printed detail set by Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory that replaces the exhaust stubs of the de Havilland Mosquito engines with more faithful parts with sharply rendered detail. The 3D printing technology allows fine edges and open exhaust mouths, which injected plastic handles only with difficulty.

Usage tips

• Separate the parts carefully from the print supports and clean up the mating surfaces.
• Wash off any residue before gluing and let them dry.
• Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand with respiratory protection.
• Painting with metallic and rusty shades together with washes and pigments will bring out the wear of the exhausts.
