Responsibility details are not available.
A set of water-slide decals in 1:48 scale from Xtradecal. The first part of the desert air war collection offers markings for six Allied fighters of the North African theater of the Second World War: two Spitfire Mk.Vbs, a Tomahawk, a Hurricane Mk.Ib, a P-40F and a P-51A.
The fighting in North Africa in 1941 to 1943 brought together British, South African, American and other Allied squadrons flying a wide spectrum of types. Their machines carried characteristic desert camouflage and colorful personal and unit markings.
Apply the decals onto a gloss base to prevent silvering. After dipping in water, slide the decal into place, fine-tune its position and blot the surplus water away. A decal softener will improve adhesion to the shapes; finally tie the surface together with varnish.
