A set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from DK Decals. The sheet offers markings for the de Havilland Mosquito in the service of Australian pilots in the RAAF and the RAF. It serves as an alternative to the decals from the box and widens the choice of schemes; the model of the aircraft itself has to be obtained separately.
The de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito was a British twin-engine multipurpose aircraft of the Second World War period with a largely wooden structure. It served as a bomber, a fighter and a reconnaissance machine, and a number of Allied pilots flew it, Australians among them.
Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss clear coat, which prevents the silvering effect. Once dry it is best to go over the surface with a matte or semi-gloss clear coat. A decal softener is recommended for perfect adhesion to the detail.
This is a set of decals, not a model of an aircraft or a vehicle. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
