Aires 1:48 Do 217 wheels and paint masks is a resin set of replacement wheels with paint masks for Dornier Do 217 models in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set from the manufacturer Aires. It holds replacement landing gear wheels with faithfully rendered hubs and tread, supplemented by paint masks that make it easier to separate the tire from the hub cleanly while spraying. Intended for Dornier Do 217 models in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit of an airplane.
The Dornier Do 217 was a German twin-engined bomber and multirole aircraft of the Second World War, used among other roles as a night fighter and as a carrier for guided missiles. The bulky landing gear wheels of this heavy machine are clearly visible, and rendering them realistically benefits a model.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. Stick the enclosed masks onto the hubs, spray the tires matte and once the masks are lifted finish the hubs separately.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
