Do 217N wheels and paint masks (late A) is a resin wheel set with painting masks in 1:48 scale for models of the Dornier Do 217N night fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of replacement main wheels with enclosed painting masks, in 1:48 scale, in the variant for the late version. It is not an airplane model but an upgrade accessory for models of the Dornier Do 217N night fighter. The cast wheels offer a finer tread and hub detail than injection-molded plastic allows.
The Dornier Do 217N was the night fighter version of the successful German Do 217 bomber. The heavily armed twin-engined aircraft carried radar and was used in the night defense against Allied raids. The matching type of tire and hub matters for a faithful model of this version.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways while sanding. The enclosed masks ensure a clean transition between the tire and the hub - spray the hub first and only then, once it is masked, the tire.
The accessory upgrades a plastic kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
