A resin (Brassin) accessory, the Dornier Do 17Z machine guns, in 1:48 scale from Eduard. A set of defensive machine guns, not a stand-alone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory from the Brassin range by the Czech maker Eduard containing defensive machine guns in 1:48 scale for the German Dornier Do 17Z bomber of the Second World War. It is not a kit of an aircraft but a set of faithfully cast machine guns (the MG 15 type) with which you replace the coarser plastic parts from the box. The machine guns can also be used on other German aircraft carrying this weapon.
The resin castings have exceptionally fine detail of the barrel, the breech and the magazines, far beyond injection-molded plastic. They raise the realism of the defensive positions of the bomber.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent and separate them carefully from the casting blocks (the thin barrels are fragile). Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and sand with respiratory protection. Paint the weapons separately before fitting them.
This is a detail accessory for experienced modelers, not a stand-alone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
