The set holds resin propellers for a model of the Dornier Do 215 in 1:48 scale, including a simple jig that makes it easier to seat the blades and the hub precisely. It is an aftermarket accessory of the Quickboost brand (Aires) replacing the plastic parts of a kit. This is not an aircraft model but a detail set.
The Dornier Do 215 was a German twin-engine aircraft from the beginning of the Second World War, derived from the Do 17. The propellers are a visually dominant feature, and their faithful rendering and the correct setting of the blade angle strongly affect the overall impression of the model.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and separate them from the casting blocks. Use the enclosed jig to seat the blades precisely so that they have the correct and symmetrical pitch. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways and ventilate the room while sanding resin.
This is an aftermarket resin accessory. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
