A detail set of two ejection seats for models of the two-seat EA-18G Growler electronic warfare aircraft in 1:48 scale. The resin seats are complemented by photo-etched and decal elements for faithful harnesses, safety handles and warning placards, so the cockpit gains a realistic look without laborious assembly.
The EA-18G Growler is a two-seat version of the Super Hornet adapted for electronic warfare and the suppression of enemy air defenses. The crew sits on modern Martin-Baker ejection seats, and rendering them faithfully lifts an open cockpit considerably.
Wash the seats to remove mold release and separate the casting blocks. Glue the resin parts with super glue and bend the small photo-etched parts with tweezers. Accent the colored harnesses and placards with a fine wash and dry brushing so that the relief stands out.
This is a detail accessory, not a stand-alone model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
