A resin set of gun barrels in 1:48 scale from Aires, the Quickboost range. This is not an airplane model but a detailed replacement for the barrel muzzles of an Embraer EMB 312 Tucano model. The accurately cast thin barrels look more faithful and finer than the plastic parts, and they are in no danger of deforming while they are cleaned up.
The Embraer EMB 312 Tucano is a Brazilian turboprop trainer and light combat aircraft, widespread with a number of air arms around the world. In the armed role it carried racks with weapons on the wings. Fine barrels and muzzles are among the details that stand out on a model in the larger scale.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks carefully and sand them with respiratory protection. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Handle the thin parts gently. Paint the barrels in metal shades and, if you like, bring the muzzles out by darkening them. Check how they seat in the wing or the fuselage before you glue them in.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. Paints, glue and the kit itself are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
