A EUR pallet 1:48 is a scenic accessory for a diorama: a standalone piece of warehouse equipment for a loading dock, a workshop or a rear-area scene. It is not a model kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a standalone object of a scene for a diorama in 1:48 scale, not a model and not a kit. A pallet is remarkably useful in a scene: anything can be stacked on it or leaned against it, it can be stood on edge or piled into a column, and the scene gains the logic of a store, a loading dock or a building site at once. It is also an object the viewer knows for certain, so he reads off the size of everything around it without thinking.
The EUR pallet is a standardized wooden pallet with a footprint of 1200x800 millimeters, used in European logistics since the middle of the 20th century. Its construction of boards, blocks and bearers has been very settled throughout, so it suits scenes from the postwar period to the present day.
The scale is the distinguishing figure. The set is made for 1:48; the same subject is also made in other scales, so for 1:35 or 1:72 choose the matching version.
Wash the part and let it dry, cut the casting remnants away and sand the face. Wood is painted from a light gray-beige base; then set the individual boards apart with slightly different tones so that the pallet does not look like a single casting. A thin brownish wash brings out the joints and the nail heads, and a dry brush pulls out the battered edges. Add dirt stains and chipping down at ground level and in the places a forklift would take the pallet. A flat varnish at the end.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and a load are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
