This resin detail set from SBS Model in 1:48 scale contains two aerial bombs of the EXPAL BRP-250 type. It is not an aircraft model but an armament accessory with which you complete the external stores of aircraft models of this period and theater.
The EXPAL BRP-250 is a Spanish aerial bomb of roughly the 250 kg class. The resin rendering faithfully captures the shape of the bomb body and of the fins, and so it completes the external stores of combat aircraft both in a diorama and on a stand.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Paint the bomb in a single base color and add the period markings and any patina according to references.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
