This is a self-adhesive masking set from the brand Kits-World in 1:48 scale. The templates are cut to fit a model of the American supersonic Lockheed F-104C Starfighter fighter and cover the wheels and the canopy from the outside. It is not a kit but an accessory for painting. The target kit is the Hasegawa PT19 / 07219.
The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter was an American supersonic fighter and interceptor, nicknamed the missile with a man in it for its short straight wings. The F-104C version served with the US Air Force as a fighter-bomber; the aircraft reached exceptional speeds and altitude performance alike.
The templates cover the canopy frames from the outside and the wheels exactly, so that spraying leaves sharp transitions without work by hand. The inner side of the clear parts is not masked in this version. Degrease the clear parts, press the mask down against the edges of the frames and spray in thin coats; lift it shortly after it dries.
The set holds masking templates only. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
