The set from the manufacturer Kelik contains a colored interior for the Lockheed F-104G Starfighter fighter, printed on a 3D printer and applied onto decal film. The elements are self-adhesive, flexible and fully pre-colored, so they faithfully imitate the instruments, consoles and linings of the cockpit without photo-etched parts and without any need to paint the interior. The set is intended for a model of the F-104G in 1:48 scale. The dimensions of the elements correspond to the cockpit of the Kinetic kit.
The 3D printed parts include the instrument panel, the side panels and further details of the cockpit with the three-dimensional texture of the instruments and faithful coloring. They are applied like stickers: they are separated from the backing and pressed onto the plastic parts of the cockpit, and the flexible carrier allows even rounded surfaces to be followed.
Degrease the surfaces before sticking and dry fit the parts. The small instruments can be brought out with a drop of gloss clear coat for the impression of glass faces. Work with tweezers and in good light; do not press the elements down until you have the correct position.
This is an accessory, a detail set, not a model of an aircraft. The kit itself is not included in the package.
