F-104S/ASA 3D interior 1:48 Quinta Studio is a 3D printed, fully colored cockpit interior on decal paper which brings the pilot compartment to life without laborious masking and spraying. The set is intended for the Kinetic kit.

This is not a kit but a color detail accessory. The parts are printed by 3D technology, colored straight away and printed on decal (waterslide) paper. The set gives the instrument panels, the side consoles, the seat and the harness full color and a plastic relief without your having to spray and mask the cockpit at length. It is prepared for a particular plastic F-104S/ASA kit in 1:48 scale. The target kit is Kinetic.
The F-104S/ASA was the modernized version of the Italian Starfighter. The abbreviation ASA denotes an upgrade of the weapon system, which brought an improved radar and new armament and extended the service of the aircraft with the Italian Air Force. Against the older versions the cockpit differed in the layout of the instruments.
The parts are applied like classic decals: cut them out, soak them in water for a moment and transfer them onto a surface varnished beforehand. Do not use decal softener or setting solution at all; they would damage the printed resin layer. In broken-up places, for instance on the harness of the seat, a thin layer of gloss varnish helps as an additional adhesive. Raised detail on the plastic is best sanded off beforehand.
It is a detail accessory of its own, not a kit. The plastic model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
