A photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for detailing the American Lockheed F-117A Nighthawk stealth strike aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of the aircraft, but a set of fine photo-etched metal parts made for the Tamiya kit. The metal pieces refine the details that cannot be molded faithfully in plastic and lift the model above the level of what is in the box.
The F-117A Nighthawk was the first American combat aircraft to use reduced radar reflectivity technology. Its characteristic faceted shape was designed to scatter radar waves, and the aircraft became known for its precise night strikes.
Separate the parts from the photo-etched fret with a sharp knife on a hard surface, shape the bends with a bending tool or a ruler and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Work carefully with the small parts. The set belongs in the hands of a more advanced modeler.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a model of the aircraft. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
