A resin detail ejection seat with the seat belts rendered, in 1:48 scale, from the maker Aires, the Quickboost line. It is not a kit of the airplane but an accessory that replaces the simpler plastic seat with a faithful resin replica complete with shaped harness. The part is meant to be built into the cockpit of a matching plastic model.
The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle is a twin-engine air superiority fighter built to win and hold command of the air. The A version was the basic single-seat variant, and the C version its later improvement with a greater fuel load and modernized avionics. The ejection seat is one of the prominent features of an open cockpit, and a detailed rendering of it raises the realism of a build.
Wash the seat free of mold release residue, cut off the casting block carefully and glue it with super glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. After the base coat the harness comes into its own in a different shade, and you can pick the fine relief out with a dry brush and wash paints. Dry-fit it before you put it into the cockpit.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
