A resin detail set, not an airplane kit. This finely cast resin set replaces the horizontal stabilizers (the all-moving stabilators) of the American two-seat F-15E Strike Eagle strike fighter in 1:48 scale. It lets you fit surfaces with a more accurate shape, fine surface texture and, if you wish, in a slightly deflected position, the way the aircraft looks standing on the ground. The set is meant for modelers who want to refine the tail area of the aircraft.
The horizontal stabilizers are large and clearly visible, so their shape and section noticeably affect the overall impression a model makes. The castings capture the fine panel lines and thin trailing edges that are hard to form in thicker plastic. A slightly deflected setting also gives a static model the lively, natural look of a parked aircraft.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
