Decals 1:48 for the Dutch F-16A with the number J-364 in the display finish of the 1997 and 1998 seasons.

The Royal Netherlands Air Force had a display Fighting Falcon of its own in the second half of the 1990s, and for the years 1997 and 1998 this task was given to the example with the registration J-364. Display machines were dressed back then in markedly colorful finishes that differed from the ordinary two-tone gray at first glance and belonged at European air days to the most sought-after thing there was to photograph.
The printed film brings artwork for both sides of the fuselage, the decoration of the vertical tail surface, the Dutch national insignia, the registration and the unit lettering. Smaller lettering completes the surroundings of the cabin and the undercarriage bays.
The layout reckons with kits of the single-seat F-16A in 1:48 scale in the European form. The color of the base has to be applied beforehand; the set adds the graphics alone.
Check that the model has no unevenness after filling in the places under the large pieces; the film traces every step exactly. Work over a soft mat so that a piece that happens to fall does not stay stuck to the tabletop. Drop water onto the model with a brush beforehand; the decal can then be moved comfortably to within a millimeter. Once dry, remove the remains of the adhesive with a damp cloth, otherwise they will show under the varnish as matte traces. Then choose the sealing varnish according to the look you want: an aircraft from an air day tends to be more convincing in a slightly satin form than in a perfectly matte one.
