A resin ejection seat with cast safety belts for the American single-engine multirole aircraft F-16 Fighting Falcon in 1:48 scale by the brand Quickboost. It is not an aircraft model but an accurate replacement part for experienced modelers that replaces the simplified seat from the kit and lifts the fidelity of the cockpit at once. The casting captures the fine relief of the harness, the buckles and the shell of the seat.
The F-16 is among the most widespread jet fighters of Western design and its ejection seat is a prominent part of the interior. Under an open canopy the seat is clearly visible, so it is worth concentrating on it. The part is intended to refine an existing F-16 model in the same scale, not as a standalone kit.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with dish soap so that the mold release agent from the mold is gone. Cut the casting block under the seat off with a sharp knife or a fine saw and sand the surface; protect your airways when sanding resin. Glue with cyanoacrylate; ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Spray the seat with a base color and bring the belts to life in a different shade with the buckles gently picked out.
It is supplied as an unpainted resin accessory for completing a model. Glue, paints and the model itself are not included in the package.
