A detail cockpit set for the two-seat F-16B MLU Fighting Falcon fighter in 1:48 scale from Aires. The resin accessory replaces the basic cockpit interior from a plastic kit with a faithfully detailed assembly: the tubs of both cockpits, the instrument panels, side consoles, seats and the control levers.
The F-16B is the two-seat training and combat version of the F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter. The MLU (Mid-Life Update) designation refers to the modernization program that brought the aircraft newer avionics and cockpit instrumentation. It keeps the high agility and the multirole use of the whole F-16 line.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and bond with super glue. The interior comes into its own once painted, with the edges picked out and a gentle wash applied. The modernized instrument panels deserve careful painting of the displays and the controls.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
