This is not an aircraft model but a 3D-printed resin detail set from the maker Eduard in 1:48 scale. It replaces the simplified plastic landing gear bays from a kit with faithfully rendered bays of the F-16C fighter in the early configuration. The set is meant for advanced modelers who want to raise the realism of the landing gear area.
Finely 3D-printed nose and main landing gear bays with a faithful structure of cable runs, piping and stiffeners, which plastic lacks. The result is a substantially more realistic underside of the model.
Separate the parts from the print supports, wash them and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The bays are set into the fuselage in place of the plastic parts; check the fit with a dry test fit. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
This is not an aircraft model in its own right but a detail accessory for the corresponding F-16C kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
