Eduard Brassin 1:48 F-16CJ Block 50 engine is a resin detail set of the engine with the exhaust nozzle for a plastic model of the F-16CJ Block 50 fighter. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the premium Brassin range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard is not an airplane model but a detail resin accessory. It replaces the simplified engine and exhaust nozzle of a plastic F-16 kit in the Block 50 version with a faithful copy with fine relief on the blades, the panels and the combustion chamber. A color photo-etched fret for small details is usually included. The set does not hold the base kit.
The F-16CJ Block 50 is a late version of the General Dynamics (Lockheed Martin) F-16 Fighting Falcon multi-role fighter, typically associated with the suppression of enemy air defenses. This version is powered by a General Electric F110 turbojet with afterburner, which has a characteristically wider exhaust nozzle.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, carefully cut them from the casting blocks and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with your airways protected. The nozzle and the engine blades come into their own once shaded with a dark wash and dry-brushed in metallic shades.
This is an accessory resin set, not a model in its own right. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
