This resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer Aires replaces the cockpit of a McDonnell F-4B/N Phantom II model with a faithfully cast interior in 1:48 scale. It contains refined tubs for both seats arranged one behind the other, instrument panels and side consoles. It is an accessory for a kit, not an airplane model in its own right.
The McDonnell F-4 Phantom II was an American two-seat, twin-engine aircraft that became one of the most widespread machines of its era. The carrier-based F-4B and its modernized F-4N form served with the Navy and the Marine Corps. The roomy tandem cockpit with its large glazing makes the interior a prominent area to look at.
Before gluing, wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the interior before the fuselage is closed. Sand resin with your airways protected.
This is a resin accessory for experienced modelers, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
