A set of painting masks for the F-4C Phantom II fighter in 1:48 scale from Eduard.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set of precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks serves for quick, clean masking of the cockpit glazing of the F-4C Phantom II fighter in 1:48 scale, usually including masks for the wheels. It is not an airplane model and not decals but an accessory that makes painting the canopy framing easier and gives sharp edges with no paint creeping under.
The masks are stuck onto the glazing and the wheels, the framing color is then applied with an airbrush or a brush, and once dry the masks are peeled off. The material follows the shape of the glazing, so lengthy cutting and masking tape are avoided.
Degrease the glazing before sticking the masks on and press them down with a blunt tool so that they adhere well into the edges. Apply the paint in thin coats so that it does not creep under the edge of the mask.
The accessory is supplied without paints and without a base model. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
