1:48 F-4G Phantom II Wild Weasel V is an injection-molded plastic kit of the special version of the Phantom intended for suppressing air defenses, released by the Japanese company Zoukei-Mura in its Super Wing Series.

The kit belongs to the premium Super Wing Series of the Japanese maker Zoukei-Mura, which is known for the elaborate internal rendering of its models and the large share of structural detail. It is an injection-molded plastic model in 1:48 scale.
The F-4G Wild Weasel V came about by converting the two-seat F-4E version and was a specialized machine for finding and suppressing ground radar systems. It carried an extensive suite of detection electronics whose antennas can be recognized on the nose of the fuselage and on the top of the vertical tail surface; in place of the gun armament in the nose it received exactly this avionics. Power came from a pair of General Electric J79 jet engines with afterburners, as on the other American Phantoms of this generation. The Wild Weasel V designation belongs solely to the F-4G version — the older Wild Weasel IV program was built on the F-4C version.
A kit with an elaborate interior is best built in subassemblies and painted as you go, while the inner parts are still accessible. Finish the cockpit and the instrument panels before you close the fuselage, and fit the clear parts only after painting and applying the decals. You can pick out the panel lines with a capillary paneliner, and at the end unify the surface with a matte or semi-matte varnish. Always apply gloss varnish under the decals so that no air is left beneath them.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
