This product is not an airplane model but a small resin detail accessory in 1:48 scale from the Quickboost brand (Aires). It holds a finely cast control stick that replaces the corresponding part from the plastic kit and refines the look of the cockpit. Without the base aircraft kit you cannot use it.
The Northrop F-5E Tiger II is a light supersonic aircraft of the F-5 family. The control stick is one of the prominently visible features of the cockpit, so a fine casting with a faithful grip texture markedly raises the realism of the interior once the canopy is removed or glazed.
Carefully separate the part from the casting block with a sharp knife or a saw, clean up the cut and sand it lightly. Wash the mold release residue off the casting before gluing. Bond it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply a primer before painting and pick out the details with a brush or a wash.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and requires the base aircraft kit, which is not included in the package.
