The reduced variant of the set from the manufacturer Quinta Studio, designated Small version in its name. It brings pre-colored 3D printed elements on decal paper that in the cockpit replace flat decals and painting the instruments by hand. The scope is narrower than that of the full set. It is an add-on for a kit, not an aircraft model.
The F-82 Twin Mustang was a long-range fighter made up of two fuselages derived from the P-51 type, joined by a common wing and stabilizer. The F-82F version was one of the night and all-weather configurations, in which the right fuselage had a radar operator's station. The individual night versions differed in radar equipment, which is why the manufacturer lists separate sets for them that are not interchangeable.
The elements are cut out one at a time, soaked briefly and transferred onto the plastic part. Prepare the surface smooth, degreased and coated with gloss varnish. Pressure from a soft brush helps an element settle into the relief; do not use a decal softener or setter, they will attack the printed resin. On this type, bear in mind that there are two cockpits and each is equipped differently, so sort the elements out beforehand. Finish the work before you close the fuselages and fix it with flat varnish.
