A basic set of accurate self-adhesive masks of thin washi (kabuki) tape from New Ware. It lets you mask the canopy glazing and the main clear parts of the model quickly and cleanly before spraying. The tape follows the shape of the glazing exactly, holds on the engraved edges and leaves no adhesive residue once lifted. The BASIC level is aimed at the basic masking of the canopy.
The North American F-86D was an all-weather interceptor, the single-seat version of the famous Sabre with radar in the nose. Unlike the classic Sabre it had no cannon but a retractable ventral tray with unguided rockets. It served with the US Air Force in the 1950s as an interceptor.
For modelers who want the canopy masked reliably without cutting tape by hand, and for whom the basic extent of the BASIC level is enough.
