This accessory set contains cast resin parts and a photo-etched fret for a faithful rendering of the control surfaces and landing flaps of the Brewster F2A Buffalo fighter in 1:48 scale. The set is intended for plastic models of the Buffalo. It is not a complete kit but a detail accessory. It is made by the Czech brand Brengun.
The Brewster F2A Buffalo was an American carrier-based fighter of the early Second World War, used by the Finnish Air Force and others as well. Lowered flaps and deflected control surfaces give a static model a sense of movement.
The original plastic surfaces are cut away and replaced with the resin parts. Wash the resin free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and do any sanding with respiratory protection. Bond both the resin and the photo-etch with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
