Responsibility details are not available.
This set of Eduard painting masks is intended for painting a plastic model of the American McDonnell F3H-2 Demon carrier-based fighter in 1:48 scale. The masks are die-cut from thin kabuki film and fit the cockpit frames and other areas exactly, so that you achieve crisp edges without the tedium of cutting adhesive tape. It is not a model but an accessory that makes painting one easier.
The McDonnell F3H Demon was a subsonic carrier-based fighter and interceptor of the US Navy from the 1950s, with swept wings. The F3H-2 version reached the fleet in 1956 with a more powerful engine and could carry guided air-to-air missiles. The Demon served until the mid-1960s, when it was replaced by the famous F-4 Phantom II, on whose development McDonnell built.
Move a mask onto clean glazing with tweezers and press it carefully against the edges of the frames. Apply the paint in thin coats, ideally with an airbrush, so that it does not run under a mask. Once dry, take the masks off carefully.
These are painting masks, not a model. The kit itself, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
