F4F-3 Weekend masks 1:48 (Eduard)

A set of shaped self-adhesive masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for the Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat fighter in 1:48 scale, the Weekend version. The masks are cut from yellow kabuki tape and serve for the clean painting of the frames of the glazed cockpit. It is not a kit but an accessory that makes precise painting easier.

Use

  • Masks for the frames of the cockpit glazing
  • As a rule also masks for the wheels, to separate the hub from the tire
  • Accurate edges with no paint running under the mask

How to use the masks

Place the parts on clean glazing with tweezers, press them down and spray over them with paint; remove them once dry. A thin coat from an airbrush holds the cleanest edge.

No, it is a set of masks for painting. You need to have the Wildcat kit itself separately.
