F4F-4 ADVANCED 1:48, Big Sin is a package of resin and photo-etched accessories from Eduard for building the F4F-4 Wildcat fighter. It is not a model but a detail upgrade for a plastic kit.

This is NOT a model of an aircraft but a collection of Big Sin accessories for the Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. Big Sin brings several separate resin (Brassin) and photo-etched sets together in a single box. The ADVANCED name means an extended, more demanding combination of parts for the maximum of detail.
The package is fitted into the Eduard F4F-4 plastic kit in 1:48 scale. The base kit is not included in the package and the modeler has to own it. The set raises the level of detail of the engine, the cockpit, the wheels and other areas beyond what the base kit offers.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin and 3D-printed parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding. Bend the photo-etched parts in a photo-etch bender, and do not overspray the colored photo-etched parts.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
