A set of color printed 3D interior decals on decal film in 1:48 scale. Unlike conventional flat decals the parts have real, multi-level relief and full colors, so the instrument panel and the cockpit interior of the F4U-1D Corsair fighter gain a three-dimensional, realistic look with no photo-etch and no laborious painting of dials.
Color printed 3D panels of the instrument panel, the side consoles and other interior elements of the cockpit with dials, switches, levers and knobs rendered. The decals are noticeably thicker than ordinary ones and are applied to the parts of the model as wet decals. They serve as direct detailing of the cockpit of a plastic kit.
Clean and degrease the surface under the decals. Separate the individual elements carefully, moisten them as the instructions say and transfer them into place; seat them with tweezers and press them gently with a soft tool so that the part follows the shape of the surface. Leave out decal softener, as it attacks the printed resin. The raised relief is further enhanced by a matte varnish and, if you like, by picking out the instrument glass with a drop of gloss varnish.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a standalone model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
